Dieter Righetti, born in Basel in 1946, completes an apprenticeship as an architectural draughtsman in Marcus Diener's office from 1961 to 1964.

Roger Diener's entry into his father's practice in 1976 marks the beginning of their close collaboration on the practice's urban design and architectural work. Dieter Righetti accompanies projects from the urban design concept through to their architectural development and has played a defining role in the design work of Diener & Diener Architekten for five decades.

He has been a member of Executive Management since 1985. His long-standing collaboration with Roger Diener and in-depth knowledge of the practice's development provide a distinctive continuity within Diener & Diener Architekten.
